Ryan Munson Foundation

Fighting the unseen fights

Our Story

The Ryan Munson Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of Ryan Munson, who passed away in 2017 after a long struggle with mental health and addition challenges.

Ryan was more than his struggles, he was a passionate athlete, a natural comedian, and a friend who could light up any room with his energy and laughter. His loss left a void in the lives of his family, friends, and community, but it also planted a seed of purpose.

Our founder, David Munson, made a promise: “Don’t let the hard times win.” Out of that commitment, the foundation was born to transform pain into purpose and carry forward Ryan’s light by supporting others who are facing unseen battles
